Nothing makes you feel more like a bachelor than ironing a shirt.
First of all I do not like to iron.
It is a household tool I do not feel comfortable with.
Secondly all I can think of as I iron is how I wish someone could assist me with this task.
I need some help.
I think I would do better hammering or drilling a shirt, not using the iron.
Then I seriously wish I could wear a non wrinkle uniform all of the time.
Maybe like Star Trek guys or perhaps Gilligan.
Captain Kirk or maybe the Skipper.
Although I do really like the Professor's outfit.
Maybe a mix.
Something I could depend on and not have to worry about wrinkling.
A closet full of the same catchy get-up.
I do not smoke but I wish I did when I ironed.
I would wear a towel and house slippers and be drinking black coffee and smoking a half done cigarette.
Pushing and pulling the iron until I was convinced I had no business doing this.
Riding through space looking for coconuts and smelling like Marlboros.
Looking for a way out of this episode.

They have these places called dry cleaners and laundries that solve these problems....sometimes for as little as 99 cents.
Check it out.
I agree. Having the same clothes options everyday would make life easier. I like the Professor's outfit too. It can be worn in all occassions. But sometimes he wore a blue button up while other times he wore a white one. That introduces complexity. I like the pattern of the button up you are ironing. Buy 7 of those and you'll be set.
